Composting Workshop with the Food Justice Leadership Collective

The Food Justice Leadership Collective gathered to learn and practice the necessary task of composting from our very own Master Composter, Kwesi. We learned the science behind composting and labor required to maintain a healthy compost bin.

The compost that we produce on the farm and market gives us the nutrients that our plants need to thrive. We put the compost back into the soil, to feed our plants, to grow the food and to provide for our community. Compost is life and death, a necessary part of farming.
