Community Workday with Food Justice Leadership Collective and Youths
We had a productive workday in the Hattie Carthan Community Market today: weeding the herb garden, weeding and cleaning the children's garden, staking and tying tomatoes, adding river rocks to the market path and working together with Youths from the community and the HC Food Justice Leadership Collective.

We are accepting applications to the Hattie Carthan Urban Agriculture Corp Youth Farmer/Chef for 2017. This is a life changing opportunity for a youth (ages 16-19) that loves the outdoors and is passionate about health and food. We are beginning our third cycle of providing holistic urban agriculture training to neighborhood youths and look forward to seeing the impact of our highly innovative curriculum and high work ethic impact the young people enrolled in our program.
